This is a sub-page of the main Icons index page, maintained and updated by Fireflowerlass.
"Moodthemes" are thumbnail images that help convey a blogger's mood. These sets were made for uploading on livejournal blogs specificlly, but other blogger systems are welcome to use these as well.
Just read the rules below before doing anything! HOW TO UPLOAD MOODTHEMES is also included there!
Before you start, there are just 4 rules to keep:
1. Comment @ my livejournal telling me exactly which icons you took.
2. Credit is to be given to "Smicons," so if you take an icon or banner or moodtheme, just post a link to this site somewhere, or if you have a livejournal, just mention Smicons in your icon keywords. If it's for a banner or moodtheme, just put a link to "Smicons" preferably on the same page or on your user info. This implies that you won't be stealing credit for these icons! I worked hard on these, so let's all be nice, por favor!
3. Don't edit the icons, color bars, "friend's only" banners, moodethemes, or anything else I post on here. I see it as tampering with my art, and adding text, changing their size, or altering them in any way are a violation of that. As for re-sizing, particularly with friends banners; I made them the size they are for a reason. I can make larger versions for you by request, but please don't resize them yourself.
4. Don't hotlink, please! Download the images to your own server before uploading them: otherwise it eats up my bandwidth. Thanks!
HOW TO UPLOAD MOOTHEMES ON LIVEJOURNAL.COM
Just log in, and then go to this page: http://www.livejournal.com/manage/moodthemes.bml
I believe that uploading moodthemes is a priveledge most ljers can utilize, not just paid users. Just follow the steps they give you. I've listed the images in order they will appear on the page.
IMPORTANT: when you paste the URLs into the boxes, make SURE that the image loads and appears on the page. If this doesn't happen, and you press the upload buttn at the bottom, YOUR HARD WORK WILL BE LOST! Once you paste the URL, click the mouse once or twice off to the side of the box in the white area of the page. This will help the page time to realize you changed something, and will load the information entered in the boxes.
